Join B.C. Walks and walk your way to better health!
United Health Services and the Broome County Health Department
want you to get walking with B.C. Walks, a wellness initiative
to help everyone in our community walk their way to better
health and improved physical fitness.
Walking is one of the best ways to become and stay fit.
* Its's free -- All you need are comfortable clothes, a pair
of sneakers or walking shoes, and the desire to become a
healthier you!
* And easy -- Start slowly by walking just 10 minutes each
day. Soon you'll work your way up to 20 minutes, then 30
minutes and before you know it walking will become a habit . . .
a healthy way of life.eck with your
doctor for advice before beginning an exercise program.
Ask your workplace if you can start a walking trail for
employees and visitors to use. Take a 10 minutes walk
during your breaks from work and ask a friend to walk in the
evenings with you.
